5 reasons why fatigue badly affect your CS:GO game
If you start a match in CS:GO being tired, you will most likely not be playing well. This may prevent you from getting a higher rank.
And although we do not think about it when we start the game, it is worth realizing how badly fatigue affects our matches and training. By the way, this does not apply only to us, but also to our teammates!
Here are some reasons why:
1. Worse concentration
Lack of concentration or its deterioration is the first reason why it is not worth playing tired. You must be focused not to make stupid mistakes, such as mindless running or grenade pulling at inappropriate times.
2. Longer reaction time
Reaction time is an extremely important part of CS: GO. In duels 1v1, the one who either shoots better or has faster reaction time will always win. The later you react, the worse. It is the milliseconds that outweigh who will win the game.
3. Lack of energy
The lack of energy caused by fatigue is very disruptive not only for you but also for your team members. If you feel tired and start a match with 4 people who are full of energy, you will automatically lower the morale of your team.
4. Lack of motivation
Lack of willingness and motivation for the game is directly connected to the energy level. Without motivation, you give up quickly and you will not have the strength to continue playing. It will take a few rounds – you will die a few times in a stupid way and will lose the desire to continue playing.
5. Getting angry faster
To maintain a positive atmosphere and play at a better level, you can not be pissed off. Even when you lose, you must think positively and motivate your friends. This, however, will not be possible if you feel a lot of fatigue.
Why are you tired and have no energy?
You already know why it’s not worth playing CS:GO being tired. Now you must ask yourself a very difficult question: where does this fatigue come from? Although in a moment you will learn how to have a lot of energy within 15 minutes, first look for the answer to the above question.
Many people underestimate this question. They are looking for a magical way to stop being tired, even if they do not understand why. So, first of all, it is worth realizing why are we experiencing fatigue.
This is simple. In the past I did not pay attention to this question myself. I was tired from morning to evening, but then I found the answer. I changed my habits and now I have 10x more energy.

Do I eat healthy?
A large meal rich in simple sugars (snacks, fast-food etc.) will give you energy for an hour. Later you will be more tired than before a meal. Change your diet – choose healthy food and eat smaller portions, but more often.
Am I physically active?
30 minutes of any physical activity several times a week is enough to dramatically increase the level of endorphins. This hormone will make you feel happy and confident, and your body will cope better with fatigue.
Am I sleeping long enough?
Okay, it is very difficult these days. We do not have time – we work a long time, sleep briefly. But a healthy sleep (a minimum of 6 hours, preferably 7-8 hours) is the first step not to be tired.
Power-nap – the best way to stop being tired at CS:GO
The theory is already behind us, that’s why now I will tell you about the magic way, how not to be tired at CS:GO.
This is called a power-nap technique. It works not only in the game, but also in everyday activities.
Power-nap is ideal for people who work or go to school and return home very tired. Sounds cool? Okay! However, this is not as easy as it may seem. There are certain rules that you must follow.
Here’s how to regenerate with power-nap:
1. Find a quiet place
A bedroom, a gaming chair or even an chair in your car will work well. Choose a place that is isolated from outside sounds that may make it difficult for you to fall asleep. You can also cover the curtains so that sunlight does not reach.
2. Take care of convenience
Take a pillow, cover with a quilt and lie down in a comfortable position. This is a very important point, because the lack of comfort will not let you fall asleep (which will make you lose time).
3. Mute the phone
No one should stop your sleep, therefore, turn off your phone and all other devices that may bother you. You will call back or write to a Facebook message when you get up.
4. Set the alarm clock for 25-35 minutes
Choosing the perfect time is the most difficult part of the power-nap technique. The optimal time is sleeping for 15-25 minutes. If you feel very tired and think you fall asleep quickly, set the alarm clock for 25 minutes. If it’s different and fall asleep, choose 35 minutes.
Remember that the most important thing is to sleep a maximum of 20-25 minutes. This is the main rule.
- If you sleep too short – you will not see a big difference.
- If you sleep too long – you will get even more tired.
Fatigue in CS:GO results from many factors. This is one of the biggest problem players are facing. It always affects our skills negatively.
To get better at CS:GO and to win more games, you must remain focused and not distracted. A very short nap in the afternoon will help you and will give you energy for the next few hours.
